The Qutab Minar’s origins are shrouded in mystery. Some say it was built as a victory tower to mark the beginning of Muslim sovereignty in India. Others claim it was used as a minaret by muezzins to summon the devout to prayer. No one can deny that the tower is not only one of the most beautiful landmarks in India, but also in the globe.

RED FORT

The Red Fort, so named because of the red stone used in its construction, is one of the world’s most spectacular palaces. This fort is also intertwined with India’s history. It was here that the British toppled the final Mughal monarch, Bhadur Shah Zafar, bringing the three-century-long Mughal reign to an end. It was also from its ramparts that the first prime minister was appointed. India’s Prime Minister, Pandit Jawharlal Nehru, proclaimed to the public that the country was free of colonial authority.

At first glance, the Jantar Mantar looks to be a modern art exhibition. However, it is an observatory. Sawai Jia Singh II of Jaipur (1699-1743), an astute astronomer and Mughal court lord, was unsatisfied with the flaws of brass and metal astronomy instruments.

JAMA MASJID

This Is One Of The Busiest Times Of The Year. Jama Masjid Is A Massive Mosque In Delhi’s Heart. It Was Commissioned In 1650 By Shah Jahan. It Is One Of India’s Largest Mosques And One Of The Largest In The World. It Is A Fantastic Monument For Onlookers Due To The Combination Of Limestone And Marble.

INDIA GATE

This Massive Monument, Located 3 Kilometers From The Rashtrapati Bhawan, Pays Tribute To All Indian Soldiers Who Died In The First World War. This 42-Meter-High Monument Is Situated On The Rajpath.
